Lock & Co. announces an exclusive brand partnership for spring/summer 23 with luxury womenswear brand and fellow artisans, Eponine. Combining their joint passion for creating classic and idiocentric investment pieces, both brands have joined forces to create a limited edition capsule collection that unites their colourful, elegant, and quirky designs.

Designed by Lock & Co.’s award-winning milliner, Awon Golding the capsule pieces have been handcrafted on-site in Lock & Co.’s 349-year-old London atelier using traditional millinery techniques. This stand-alone collection combines Lock & Co.’s classic vintage-inspired shapes, with Eponine’s bold and playful use of colour and fabrics.

I’m a long-time fan of Eponine and the joyful designs they create. In a landscape of muted women’s fashion, Eponine is a ray of sunshine. Their dresses never fail to bring a smile and are the perfect complement to my designs at Lock & Co.

AWON GOLDING, Head Designer at Lock & Co. Hatters

I first walked through the ancient green door of Lock & Co. Hatters many years ago, to buy a trilby for my husband. I am so thrilled, all these years later, to be joining forces with Lock & Co. and with Awon Golding as Head Designer.

By the late 19th and early 20th century, they were worn by everyone from labourers and farmers to gentlemen at leisure.
