FAQs

How to measure my head size?

Take a tape measure and measure around your head, just above your ears, in either inches or centimetres. All of our hats and caps come sized and you can choose which sizing scale you wish to use. On our website, we’ve set the default to European sizing which is centimetres. For more information on sizing click here.

Is it possible to try hats on in a fitting room to see if they match certain outfits?

Yes, it's possible to test out various hats with your outfits in our fitting room to find the right one. A photo of you outfit will suffice if you aren't able to bring the outfit with you.

How do you wear a fedora hat correctly?

Having a soft brim means that the fedora can be styled in several different ways; you can wear the brims angled down or turned up at the back or the front, but most tend to wear the brim up in the back and down in the front, as it gives the fedora that time-honoured and suave 'wave' shape.

What is the definition of a flat cap?

Flat caps are made from one piece of cloth - usually wool, tweed or cotton - and are rounded with a stiffened but malleable peak. We specialise in offering a large collection of caps of various styles and fabrics all year round, including leather, linen, Escorial wool, and cashmere.
