Originally designed, as the name suggests, for those who stalked deer on the moors, the Deerstalker became synonymous with Sherlock Holmes, the literary hero of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's detective series. This distinctive style features traditional ear flaps that can be worn up or down depending on the weather, secured with a smart dark purple grosgrain ribbon when folded up.

Care

Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush will help banish any dust and dirt. Brush the hat using short strokes.

Spot-clean using a damp cloth and leave to dry at room temperature.

The Deerstalker is fully lined with satin and is made traditionally from checked pure British wool tweed. It is finished with ear flaps and a smart grosgrain ribbon with a bow.
