The Michele Cloche is named after, and crafted to celebrate the wonderful life of our dear friend and colleague Michele Monaghan, who sadly passed away in 2025.
Michele was a cherished member of the Lock & Co. Hatters team, having worked for the business for over 10 years, and from the very beginning her positivity and kindness towards others was evident to all. Michele approached every new challenge at work with a sunny smile, and she encouraged and helped others to do the same. Michele was a firm favourite amongst our customers, with her knowledge and hatting skills attracting some very loyal clients.
Michele would often talk about her daughters and how she was so very proud of both of them, often mentioning their latest adventures. She loved the sea, often noting how long walks on the beach would help her mindset.
Michele was a good friend to everyone that she met whilst at work. She was warm, funny, caring, and extremely loyal to Lock & Co. – and always had time for everyone.
Michele Monaghan was an inspiration to us all, she was stronger than she knew and was a genuine and kind friend.
