    International Women's Day

    by Lock Hatters Admin

International Women’s Day is held annually on March 8. It is a global celebration when,

women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political [United Nations].

Here at Lock & Co. Hatters, our team has been reflecting on what International Women’s Day means to them and for our business.

It is imperative to shed light on the remarkable strides women have made in their ongoing struggle for equity in our societies. Yet, it is equally critical to acknowledge the long and winding road that lies ahead. In solidarity with women worldwide, I pledge my support to those who are still fighting for their rightful place at the table.

    Awon - Head Millinery Designer

I am so delighted to see that women make up 70% of our management team! True representation means that women and minority groups have a seat at the table because they are experts in their fields.

    Karen  - Website Manager

You can’t keep a good woman down.

Sima -  Financial Controller/ Company Secretary

    Well-behaved women rarely make history.

    Ysabel - Senior Buyer

“Feminism isn't about making women strong. 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠. It's about changing the way the world perceives that strength.

    Dee  - Marketing Manager

Incredible things happen when women support and inspire each other.

    Pati - Stylist

A strong woman knows she has strength enough for the journey, but a woman of strength knows it is in the journey where she will become strong.

At Lock & Co. we encourage all of our female employees to have a voice, to be heard. Our senior leadership team is 75% women, who are leading the business into its 349th year.
