International Women’s Day is held annually on March 8. It is a global celebration when,
women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political [United Nations].

Yet, it is equally critical to acknowledge the long and winding road that lies ahead.
