The 35 Panama Hat

The 35 Panama is an updated version of our classic Highgrove Panama, created to mark the 35th anniversary of The King's Foundation.

This timeless piece features a refreshed green band in the colours of The King’s Foundation. It is suitable for both men and women, and each hat is hand-woven from the finest toquilla palm fibres by artisans in Ecuador, using skills passed down for generations and then blocked by hand in England using traditional methods. Profits from sales of the hat will support The King's Foundation for its charitable delivery of education and training initiatives, some of which take place at Highgrove.

Care

Always handle your Panama hat by the brim to avoid distorting the crown.

Avoid wearing a straw hat in the rain. If it gets wet, dry using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge. Should your hat shrink in size, a hat jack can be used to stretch it back to its original shape.

Panama hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

Be very gentle with this hat; Regular steams are highly recommended, bring your Lock & Co. Panama hat to us for a complimentary steam whilst you wait. We use a specialist steamer to refresh hats. This typically takes five minutes, depending on how busy our shop is.

Materials

This sartorial staple is elegantly finished with a fine lime and bright green grosgrain ribbon and a beautifully soft leather sweatband. Each Highgrove Panama hat is presented in an exclusive bespoke green and gold box to celebrate this historic occasion.
