The Fairbanks trilby is named after the US actor Douglas Fairbanks Junior, who used to reside above No. 6.
Crafted from beaver felt with a grosgrain band and bow, the neat brim features a whipped edge that ensures the hat maintains its defined silhouette.
The Fairbanks trilby is lined with silk and finished with a beautifully soft leather inner headband to ensure your hat feels secure.
The style bears all the hallmarks of Lock & Co. Hatters - quality, style, longevity, and craftsmanship.
We are proud to see our Fairbanks trilby was featured in the Platinum Jubilee issue of Tatler magazine.
Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush will help remove dust and dirt. Brush the hat using short strokes, following the natural direction of the fibre.
Wet hats should be kept away from direct heat and should be dried using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge.
Felt hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.
