Superfino Montecristi Panama

For those who want the best, look no further than the Superfino Montecristi.

The Superfino Montecristi can take up to 3 months to create. You can count on one hand the number of weavers able to produce such an intricate finish, and we work closely with the craftspeople to ensure these skills are passed on to the next generation of weavers.

Superfino Montecristi Panama

  • Brim Length: 6.5 cm
  • Crown Height: 10 cm

Always handle your Panama hat by the brim to avoid distorting the crown.

Avoid wearing a Panama in the rain. Dry with a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge if it gets wet.

Panama hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

Handwoven in Montecristi, Ecuador using skills passed down for generations, this hat is the result of months of precision weaving.

Lock & Co. Superfino Panamas are finished with a high-grade black grosgrain ribbon, a soft tan-leather sweatband, and a silicon finish inside the pinch to ensure shape retention for years to come.

The black band and bow are a nod to the tradition of mourning bands that were worn on hats in the year of Prince Albert's death, which then became the fashion.
