The Highgrove Coronation Panama

The Highgrove Panama Hat is available to purchase at Lock & Co. and from the Highgrove Shop's website from the 2nd of May 2023.

The Prince’s Foundation is responsible for opening Highgrove Gardens to the public, generating an annual income for the charity. All profits from sales of the hat will support The Prince's Foundation for its charitable delivery of education and training initiatives, some of which take place at Highgrove. The Prince’s Foundation’s base at Highgrove accommodates education and training opportunities in furniture-making, fashion, and textiles, and building craft skills.

Scott Simpson, Head of Group Retail for The Prince's Foundation, said: "We are delighted to announce the release of the Highgrove Panama Hat to mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. We are pleased to be working with Lock & Co. who exemplify excellence in British style and craftsmanship. As with all sales of Highgrove products, garden tours, and events, proceeds will be used to enable the life and work of The Prince's Foundation, including its range of inspiring education and training programmes."

Ben Dalrymple, Managing Director at Lock & Co., said: “Lock & Co. is both honoured and delighted to be working with Highgrove to produce these beautifully made Panama hats, the profits from which go towards raising vital funds for The Prince’s Foundation."

Handwoven in Ecuador by expert craftswomen, then blocked and trimmed in England, each hat delivers summer style and timeless elegance, suitable for both ladies and gentlemen.   The Highgrove Panama Hat complements both formal and casual attire and is equally at home at seasonal social occasions as it is on the beach.

Each Highgrove Panama Hat is elegantly finished with green and gold grosgrain ribbons and is presented in a bespoke green and gold box to mark this historic occasion.

Available from the 2nd of May in limited quantities, both from the Highgrove Shop and from Lock & Co.
