Christmas Wishes from Lock & Co.

Christmas Wishes from Lock & Co.

Dear Customers, Partners and Friends,

Since 1676 Lock & Co. has been selling the finest hats and caps, focusing on the cornerstones of our family business; the highest possible quality products, world-class customer service, and an unrivalled ownership experience.

We are the oldest hat shop in the world, and the oldest shop in London.
Indeed, we are around 40 years older than Gabriel Farenheit’s first mercury
thermometer – so please keep warm by wearing a hat this winter!

As our 349th year of hatting draws to a close, on behalf of the whole team
at Lock’s I wanted to wish you all the very merriest of Christmases and a most
happy new year.

2026 will be a special year for Lock & Co. as we celebrate our 350th anniversary. With men’s and women’s limited-edition hats, caps and collectibles each month, plus some
secret surprises, there is every reason to keep in touch and be part of the
party.

Thank you, most kindly, for your custom, and we hope to see you in the shop
or on our website soon. You are always most welcome.

With festive wishes,

Ben

Managing Director, Lock & Co.

By the late 19th and early 20th century, they were worn by everyone from labourers and farmers to gentlemen at leisure. Today, the flat cap retains its heritage charm while being embraced as a versatile style in both town and country.
