A summer sartorial staple, the Classic Panama is a truly timeless piece.
Hand-woven in Ecuador by craftsmen and craftswomen, using skills passed down for generations. Woven from the finest toquila-palm fibres. Lock & Co. Panamas are blocked by hand, using traditional methods, then trimmed with fine grosgrain ribbon, and finished with a beautifully soft leather sweatband. For longevity and shape-retention, we add silicon inside the pinch. Our Classic Panamas are selected carefully to ensure that they are the best in the world.
The style bears all the hallmarks of Lock & Co. - quality, style, longevity, and craftsmanship.
Our Classic Panama has a 5 cm brim and a 10 cm crown.
Trimmed with 3 cm grosgrain ribbon, and finished with a beautifully soft leather sweatband.
Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush or clean pencil rubber will help remove dust and dirt. Alternatively, use a soft nailbrush and a little soapy water. Panama hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.
Avoid wearing a Panama hat in the rain. If it gets wet, dry using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge.
