Charitable Support

Lock & Co. Hatters is proud to be affiliated to three charities; Brain Tumour Research, Style for Soldiers and QEST.

Brain Tumour Research has been a recipient of monetary donations from Lock & Co. Hatters for 4 years and our staff are committed to raising money through additional fundraising events. In November 2014 we launched a millinery competition to find new talent with the prize being for the winning hat to be put into production for the AW15 collection. A 10% donation of the RRP was donated from every hat.

Lock & Co. Hatters work very closely with Emma Willis to support her Headley Court ‘Style for Soldiers’ initiative. Twice a year Lock & Co. Hatters visit injured servicemen to fit them with hats and caps that are specially made for them.

Established in 1990 and to mark the 150th anniversary of the Royal Warrant Holders Association, QEST was founded to provide a scholarship programme to champion and promote British craft. Lock actively supports and participates in QEST and RWHA activities to further the message of craftsmanship.

Supporting British Mills

Lock & Co. Hatters is committed to working with British mills to source their woollen tweeds. We recognise the importance of championing and supporting British craftsmanship and artisans and wherever possible, we choose to work with suppliers within Great Britain.
