    The Fairbanks trilby is one of our autumn/winter signature styles and is named after US actor Douglas Fairbanks Junior, who used to reside above No. 6.  This well-proportioned hat—the brim is not too wide, and the crown is not too high—will fit almost everyone.


    Crafted from beaver felt with a grosgrain band and bow, this trilby's neat brim features a whipped edge that ensures the hat maintains its defined silhouette. The style bears all the hallmarks of Lock & Co. Hatters; quality, style, longevity, and craftsmanship.

    Care

    Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush will help remove dust and dirt. Brush the hat using short strokes, following the natural direction of the fibre.

    Wet hats should be dried using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge. Do not place a felt hat on a radiator as the heat will shrink the fibres and cause your hat to decrease in size.

    Felt hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

    The Fairbanks trilby is fully lined and is finished with a beautifully soft leather inner sweatband to ensure that your hat feels secure.
