The St James's fedora hat – classically proportioned, simply perfect.

It is understandable why this is one of our best-selling hats. The St James's men's hat style is beautifully handcrafted with the highest quality beaver and mink fur felt, making it feel luxurious to the touch. With a stylish silhouette, beautiful band and meticulous attention to detail on the fine ribbon edge brim, this hat is the perfect choice for the man about town, whatever the occasion.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Measurements
  • Brim Width: 7.5 cm
  • Crown Height: 10.5 cm
Care

Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush will help remove dust and dirt. Brush the hat using short strokes, following the natural direction of the fibre.

Wet hats should be dried using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge. Do not place a felt hat on a radiator as the heat will shrink the fibres and cause your hat to decrease in size.

Felt hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

Materials

The St James's fedora is crafted from 90% beaver and 10% mink fur felt, the latter being the most expensive felt you can buy.

This prestigious piece is luxurious in all of its details; from the fine ribbon edge brim to the beautifully soft leather sweatband. The hat is finished with an internal stunning red lining.

Styling & Fitting

Each St James's fedora comes with a complimentary Lock & Co. hat box.

The St James's is also available in a 'golden' beige.

Beaver & Mink Fur Felt
Lock & Co. hats are made of the finest quality material. These can range from exclusive Escorial wool, Scottish Tweed, and cashmere to Toquilla straw for our Panama hat.
