Brown Felt Homburg Hat
The Godfather

Godfather Homburg
Colour
Fawn
Select size

The Godfather is an instantly recognisable and iconic hat style.

The Homburg was initially popularised by Sir Anthony Eden, while this slightly narrower-brimmed version is named after Al Pacino who wore one in the film 'The Godfather.' This Homburg features a lighter rabbit felt than the Eden, but shares the same flat brim. It is a durable and versatile hat style which you wear with or without the pinches. Measurements
  • Gutter Crown Height: 9.5 cm
  • Band Width: 4 cm
Care

Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush will help remove dust and dirt. Brush the hat using short strokes, following the natural direction of the fibre.

Wet hats should be dried using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge. Do not place a felt hat on a radiator as the heat will shrink the fibres and cause your hat to decrease in size.

Felt hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

Materials

The 'kettle curl' brim of this hat is made of smooth rabbit felt and is trimmed with grosgrain ribbon, while the gutter crown is finished with a band and bow. It is fully lined with Lock & Co.'s signature lining and has a leather inner sweatband which can be monogrammed.

Styling & Fitting

The hat can be worn with or without the pinches, either way is acceptable.
