Always handle your Panama hat by the brim to avoid distorting the crown.

Spot-clean using a damp cloth and leave to dry at room temperature. Or alternatively steam from a household kettle and a soft bristle hat brush or a clean pencil rubber will help remove dust and dirt.

Avoid wearing a Panama hat in the rain. Dry with a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge if it gets wet.

Should your hat shrink in size, a hat jack can be used to stretch it back to its original shape.

Panama hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

Panamas are blocked by hand using traditional methods, then trimmed with fine band, and finished with a beautifully soft leather sweatband.
