The King's Rose Panama Hat

Inspired by The King’s Rose - the first-ever striped English Shrub Rose created by David Austin in honour of His Majesty King Charles III, this elegant, limited-edition Panama hat reimagines our classic Highgrove design with soft detailing and timeless craftsmanship.

This updated version features a dusty pink and cream trim, finished with a crossover detail. Handwoven in Ecuador from the finest toquilla palm fibres by skilled artisans, each hat is meticulously hand-blocked in England using traditional millinery techniques. Designed to suit both men and women, The King’s Rose Panama is fitted with a beautifully soft beige leather sweatband for lasting comfort.

Ten percent of the net revenue from the sale of this hat will be donated to The King’s Foundation to support its charitable work in education and training initiatives, many rooted in the gardens and grounds of Highgrove itself.

Care

Always handle your Panama hat by the brim to avoid distorting the crown.

Avoid wearing a straw hat in the rain. If it gets wet, dry using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge. Should your hat shrink in size, a hat jack can be used to stretch it back to its original shape.

Panama hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

Be very gentle with this hat; Regular steams are highly recommended, bring your Lock & Co. Panama hat to us for a complimentary steam whilst you wait. We use a specialist steamer to refresh hats. This typically takes five minutes, depending on how busy our shop is.
