Peggy Escorial Wool Cloche

This strikingly stylish wide brim cloche has the feel and look of a contemporary classic.

This Peggy cloche is the perfect accompaniment to your autumn/winter wardrobe. Superior craftsmanship, exclusive and luxurious Escorial wool felt, and a finish of two narrow bands secured with gold-coloured cubes lend this timeless cloche silhouette an exquisite elegance.

Please note that for this hat, a medium size would be a size 58, while a large would be a 60.

  • Brim Width : 11cm
  • Crown Height : 11cm

Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush will help banish any dust and dirt. Brush the hat using short strokes.

Dry a wool cap by shaking off the water and leave at room temperature.

These cloche hats are made from Escorial wool, a rare and luxurious wool that can only be found in small quantities in Australia and New Zealand today. The Escorial fibre is similar to a curled spring, and when stretched during the manufacturing process, its natural memory returns it to its original curled state. This curled spring distinguishes Escorial hats as lightweight and resilient. The hat is unlined and finished in the EU.

Find Your Size and Style

At Lock & Co. we offer a wide selection of styles of hats. What defines a hat style is its form: overall shape, height/shape of the crown, width of the brim, and material type. These define a style e.g., Fedora, Trilby, Panama, Cloche, Tweed cap etc.
Escorial Wool
Lock & Co. hats are made of the finest quality material. These can range from exclusive Escorial wool, Scottish Tweed, and cashmere to Toquilla straw for our Panama hat.
Wide Brim
Different styles of hats have different shapes to them, including classic, fuller, narrow, and standard fits, or with an oversized or a wide brim or sporting a particular shape - bell, birdcage, etc.
Every part of a hat has its purpose. Discover the features or aesthetic of each hat and how it will specifically enhance your hat-wearing experience.
