    For centuries, the top hat has been a mark of distinguishment and class among discerning gentlemen, synonymous with Royal Ascot and weddings.

    The  Town Shell is crafted from stiffened rabbit felt, trimmed with grosgrain along the brim, and finished with a wool felt band. Each topper is fully lined and with a leather inner headband.

    We also include a complimentary Lock & Co. hatbox to keep your topper in.

    • Crown Height: 13.5 cm
    • Band Width: 4 cm 

    Using a soft bristle hat brush, gently stroke the hat in a short, anti-clockwise motion. This will remove any dust caught on the fur fibres.

    Always store top hats in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

    1. USE a soft tape measure.

    2. PLACE it around your head, positioned mid-forehead and just above the ears.

    3. MEASURE in centimetres or inches.

    4. FIND your size on the hat size chart.
