    Care

    Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush or clean pencil rubber will help remove dust and dirt.

    Alternatively, use a soft nailbrush and a little soapy water. Straw hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

    Avoid wearing a straw hat in the rain. If it gets wet, dry using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge.

    Materials

    This boater is made from 100% pedal straw. It is trimmed with a navy and red polka dot ribbon and is finished with an internal soft leather sweatband to keep your hat secure.

    Styling & Fitting

    This hat is the perfect hat of choice for calendar events such as Henley Royal Regatta and Wimbledon. Popularised in the 19th century, the boater is made distinguishable by its stiff flat crown and brim, as well as being adorned by a ribbon.
