The classic boater (or skimmer, cady or can-can, as it is sometimes known) has become synonymous with quintessentially British social events. Crafted from stiff sisal straw to retain its classic boater shape for years to come.

The boater is finished with a smart black Petersham ribbon, the hat has a leather inner sweatband so it stays firmly in place. Fully lined and adorned with our illustrious label.

Our boater has a 6 cm brim, and a 8 cm crown.

The hat features a leather inner sweatband, and a black 5 cm Petersham ribbon, the hat is fully lined with a leather inner sweatband.

Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush or clean pencil rubber will help remove dust and dirt.

Avoid wearing a Panama or straw hat in the rain. If it gets wet, dry using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge. Panama and straw hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.
